The Lexus RC 350 is a brand new model for 2015, and is Lexus' latest shot at the luxury sport coupe market. It's a 2+2 seater that launches with six trim levels, and rear or optional all-wheel drive. If this isn't sporty enough for you, try the RC F instead.
The RC 350 is available with one engine choice, a 3.5L V6 making 307 hp. The base model is the all-wheel drive Premium package, and it's well equipped with navigation, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated seats, blind spot monitoring, a back-up camera with rear cross-traffic alert, and a power sunroof. All-wheel drive models come with a six-speed automatic.
The AWD Executive package adds premium leather seats with memory, radar cruise, lane guidance, LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and a Mark Levinson stereo.
Next up is the F Sport Series 1, in rear-wheel drive. It gets adaptive suspension, four-wheel steering with variable steering ratio, which changes how much you need to turn the steering wheel to have the tires your desired amount. There are also LED headlights and F Sport trim. Rear-wheel drive cars get an eight-speed auto. There is also an AWD F Sport, but it doesn't get the four wheel steering or variable steering ratio. An F Sport Series 2 package on rear or all-wheel drive models adds radar cruise, Lexus pre-collision system, parking sensors and a Mark Levinson stereo. The rear-drive RC 350 gets 12.3 L/100 km city, 8.5 highway, and the all-wheel drive gets 12.6/9.1.
Up against the Audi A5, BMW 4-series, Cadillac ATS and Infiniti Q60, the Lexus is probably the least sporty drive of the group. But it is also probably the most luxurious, and is certainly the most aggressively styled. If that's what you want, this is the one you should go for.
